Coos Bay Wine Walk Relaunch June 04, 2021

As a proud Rotarian, a former downtown business owner and of course as the Mayor of Coos Bay, I am extremely excited about this week’s relaunch of the Downtown Coos Bay Wine Walk. The Coos Bay Wine Walk is a great way to discover different businesses in our downtown area, an opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors, and to be part of an event which benefits local non-profit organizations.

This monthly event began in 2007 but was put on hold for much of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On June 4, starting at 5 p.m., the Coos Bay-North Bend Rotary Club will unveil its new Wine Walk commemorative glass design. The Walk will feature many favorites as well as several new businesses to visit.

The Wine Walk starts at the Visitor’s Center, located at 50 Central Avenue, Coos Bay. The fun begins at 5 p.m. and continues to 7 p.m. If you would like to participate in the Wine Walk, make your suggested $10 donation and receive a glass and a map of participating locations. This month’s Wine Walk will benefit Music On The Bay-Coos bay, Oregon and Dance Umbrella. The Wine Walk has donated more than $310,000 to local non-profit organizations since it began.

June’s event is brought to you by the Coos Bay - North Bend Rotary with the assistance of Oregon's Adventure Coast: Coos Bay, North Bend, Charleston, Coos Bay Downtown Association, Marshfield Mercantile, and K-DOCK 92.9 FM Classic Hits Radio.
