Summer Luau Benefits Police K-9 Unit July 11, 2018

Get your tickets today and dust off your grass skirts and Hawaiian wear for a fun filled night at the 1st Annual Summer Luau to help support the City of Coos Bay Police Department K-9 Unit. The event will be held on Friday, July 27 from 6 - 10 p.m. at Flappers Wine & Whiskey Bar/Roaring 20's Event Center at 375 Central Ave in Coos Bay.

You'll enjoy a delicious Hawaiian style meal by Chef Jessica. Plus, you'll be entertained with live surf and hot rod music by the Men from S.U.R.F. from Eugene and a five-piece Magic Hat Band featuring mandolin, harmonica, ukulele, and washtub bass. 

Stillwagon Distillery will provide a Tiki Rum Tasting Station. Guests can participate in a silent auction and a live mermaid photo booth. Everyone will have the opportunity to win items as drawings will be held throughout the night. This a 21+ event and no-host bar.

The City of Coos Bay Police Department’s K-9 members 
are a valuable asset of the police force who serve the community with honor and integrity. The K9's are normally used to protect specific personnel, search for criminals, help search and rescue missing people, search for drugs and to help do other important jobs in the police force. Trained in tracking, apprehension, and narcotic detection such as methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine, these members are an important asset to responding to our community needs and providing a safer environment in which we live.
