Coos Bay Fire & Rescue is recruiting for the position of Student Firefighter. This position performs firefighting duties and emergency medical care related to preventing and suppressing fires and saving of life and property. This position is intended to provide on-the-job experience in conjunction with an approved course of study in Fire Science Degree Programs through Southwestern Oregon Community College.
Coos Bay Fire & Rescue provides Housing in exchange the Student is assigned to a 24-hour work shift. These positions, when filled, will begin the Fall 2008 term.
